A year ago I embarked on a journey of spending my Saturdays alone, in the office, working from 7 to 4, just to make up for the classes I attend to every Wednesday (Yey Wednesday Warrior!). Now I know I’m not the only one doing this, but I can’t help but feel that I’ve taken for granted most of the weekends my life. That’s 52 weekends times 22 years! (Okay that’s a bit over dramatic)
But still, I realized that Saturdays shouldn’t just be for sleeping in and cozying up on lazy afternoons. Weekends should be for adventures! For trying out new things! For creating new memories! For doing the stuff we can’t do because of our day jobs! (Feel my energy spikes haha) Weekends shouldn’t be wasted. Period. And that’s what I’m planning to do, starting with this blog.
Every week I’ll post about how I spent my weekend, whether going somewhere I’ve never been to before, or trying out a new exercise, or even just finishing a DIY project. The goal here is to plan something every week so I #DontWasteTheWeekend
